Spent some time with my new Gunsite Scout this weekend

Took my new Gunsite to the range sunday. Havent got a scope set up yet so i was using the ghost rings. Shot some groups from a normal resting position ( jacket rolled up, sitting down) Fired a 1.5" group at 100 yds and then took it out to 200 yds and shot a 4" or so group. Then went to a sitting position and was ringing a 10" X 12" plate @ 200YDS. Over all very impressed. Action was smooth, fed reliably all day. Very happy I bought it

Thanks for the range report. I like the look of them. What ammo were you using?

Bought some federal 150gr SP. gonna be handloading 150gr sierra gamekings and we'll see how it does. Sorry no pics

I want one, but would prefer a different stock. I'd prefer a camo synthetic stock, or real wood. I'm not a fan of laminate, although they are very tough.

Did you shoot from a bench at all?

I did. I didnt use a lead sled or anything, just a rolled up jacket. So far i love the gun and it shoots great.
