I just wanted to let everyone know my brief experience with SA's customer
service.
I called them yesterday as well as e-mailed them the night before asking some
questions about my V-16 .45 Super. I was not too hopeful as it is a discontinued
model and figured it would take some time to get some if any information.
The e-mail response time was about 12 hours and answered the questions I asked.
While on the phone I was able to get all my questions answered in a friendly
and prompt maner. She told me which spring weight I needed to shoot the .45
Super ammo as well as what the MFG dates were for mine. She was also able
to give me some information on the history of the V-16 and V-16 .45 Super models.
Each time she answered a question I thought of another and she either knew
the answer, looked it up, or asked some one and still stayed cheery and polite.
I think I kept her on for 20+ mins.
I have been in customer service for a long time (phone, e-mail, and chat based)
and am over 2 support teams so CS is very important to me.
I hear a lot of bad customer service stories and just wanted to share a good one.
