Springfield sight question...

I've got a Springfield 1911 Operator, full rail. It has a Heinie fixed rear sight. I want to swap in an adjustable sight.

Does anyone know what cut that rear sight is? I believe it's a Novak.

I just bought one of these:

to try a red dot on my Springfield Range Officer Elite Operator, and it shows the cut to be a Novack. Is yours a Champion Operator or a Range Officer Operator?

The only markings on it are Operator.

It's much older than a Ranger Officer and it's not a lightweight.

My "Loaded" came with an adjustable rear, might give Springfield a call and ask what flavor the rear dovetail is and see if the Loaded rear would work.

I bought a Springfield Range Operator as a gift for a friend. I wanted to change out the sights but found out the rear dovetail is proprietary to Springfield.
