Hi everyone,

Im looking for some tips or advice on improving my stack on safe. I have enough room for my rifles and shotguns but I’m running out of room for hand guns. I currently have 4 or 5 on the top shelf, and 2 on the side shelves. Does anyone else have a stack ok safe that you added/modified to fit more guns?

1. Any suggestions for lights?
2. Looking for a solution for something to hang on the inside wall. I searched online but most of them appear to fit larger safes with thick doors. I thought I could find a pistol holder with a magnet but my searches came up with nothing.

I also looked into a new safe, but I don’t want one that is 500 pounds. The only other option that would work for me is $1000 and I’d rather just upgrade my current safe.

First use gun socks on all of your guns. Second take out the plastic barrel dividers.
Third store some guns muzzle down.
Harbor Freight has a magnetic tool holder that should be able to hold hand guns.

They make magnetic gun holders that are covered in plastic to avoid scuffs and scratches.

If you work around metal or debris that would be attracted to a magnet and have a shelf in there these might be a better idea.

Lots of touch lights to pick from these days that are good for the job.

Most of the stack-on cabinets/boxes I have looked at were very thin (18-20ga/ .048-.036” thick) a refrigerator with the addition of a lock would probably be more secure.

For lights, get a three-pack of these:

I pulled that link off Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Rechargeable...hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4584482470039033&psc=1

Which is not the only place to find these nifty little lights (plenty on eBay, for instance).
Uses a rechargeable battery by way of USB 2.0 cable (typically provided). I get about 6-8 months out of mine. You typically have to gently remove the flexible magnetic strip off the back, then peel off the double-stick tape and then stick the strip back on the light.

I put mine on the back of the front face of the box, so that the light fills the interior. (If you put them facing each other the day/night detect triggers, and they shut themselves off.)
