Just won these two on Gunbroker. Made in 1983 and unfired. They will be shot. Will probably be my main match guns once they get broken in.
I saw those sitting there on Gunbroker. But I don't think they were listed as stainless steel Uberti revolvers.
Were they Fingers? .
I was there and was watching them but didn't jump in! Congrats.I saw the listings shortly after they were posted. I waited till an hour or so before the end to place a bid. Didn't want the price to get ridiculous. I like 3 or 7 day auctions; not 14 day ones. Prices go up that way.
I've got an 1851 already - along with six other models; but, I'll bid on every SS Uberti that comes along. The more the merrier
Thanks.I was there and was watching them but didn't jump in! Congrats.
They weren't Ubertis. They were 2nd Gens and actually went for a decent price. 100% condition is worth $950 according to the Blue Book.Very nice! Did you see the SS Uberti 1860 Army's the same guy had? They each went for over $800.
Why doesn't pietta or Uberti still make these? they'd sell.
American Holly. Now you need either ebony or ivory grips. Purty guns.

I seem to recall seeing the stainless Model 1860s for sale way back when but didn't know they made any Model 1851s.
I second the notion of American Holly wood for the grips. Have a pair on my Ruger Flattop Blackhawk and they look great.
Fingers as at least one pair of American Holly grips that are very pretty.
Beautiful guns! I have one that I haven't fired yet.
