Yeah I would say you've got more than one pair like that! Beautiful collection! Like the Sharp's pepperbox too!

wow I want one I bet that's hard to get now! if even possible right?
Mine was made by Miroku. Uberti also made some. They show up on Gunbroker every now and then. Originals do as well. The Mirokus are .22LR, Ubertis 22 L and IIRC, the originals are .22 short and .32 rimfire. There are half dozen or so originals on GunBoker right now. One with no bids that might be had for under $500. Auction # 644292439

These are American Holly grips made by Private's Custom Grips on my Ruger Flattop Blackhawk. Unfortunately he's decided to take a break from grip making so no new orders there. Classic Single Action makes grips from American Holly and Satinwood and could probably make a grip for a black powder revolver but due to having shoulder surgery the owner will not be back to work until later this year. I did find Chisel and Plane Workshop and Chris Whisler does make grips out of American Holly. While not specifically listed there might be the posibility of him making a set of custom grips for black powder revolvers.

Ivory is still legal. Just has to be documented as being obtained prior to a certain date & I can't remember what that date is.

I believe the date was July 6, 2016.

Need a close-up of that 1860 Colt and those fantastic elk grips! Very nice!

Thank You Sir, I was trying to make my 1860 repro look as good as your Colt!! :)

My picture taking ability really sucks!!! I still haven't been able to figure out these new digital cameras.
