Finally had a chance to test-fire it. Didn't have a paper target, shot mostly at 1/2 gallon jugs at 15-25m.

Sights are easy to acquire in good light. Trigger is very good, some take-up, then crisp and fairly light. Reliability 100% with 115gr S&B, white box and Russian steel-cased ball, S&B, Winchester hollow points, 90gr British soft points and 124gr Gold Dots. I ran about 150 rounds through. Accuracy seems pretty good, though the sight may require slight windage drifting. Not much kick, ejection consisten and not in the shooter's face. The mqagazine looks like a micro Wilson, with two long witness holes, holds 8 rounds. Safety was very positive. Point shoots fractionally high. Have two more mags on order. The gun will fit Kahr and Colt Commander holsters, not sure what mag pouches to use. Also not sure if sights are standard, if they are, I'll get night sights installed. For $179 incl. tax, I think it is an excellent gun. In fact, I will carry it once I have more mags. The quality and reliability are just right. The gun isn't pretty, but I don't care.

Thanks to the advice from Mr. Camp, I turned off the mag disconnector by placing a piece of plastic under it. That was the one "feature" I disliked about the design.

Hello, sir. You are most welcome. By the way, if you can find them, it's been my experience that the little Star BM really likes Federal 124-grain Nyclads in with regard to accuracy. The same company's 115-grain std. pressure JHP does very well, too. FWIW, my gun absolutely will not feed Golden Sabers in any bullet weight.

Best.
