About a year and a half ago I was on here or TFL and ran across a gentleman in Spain that had original Star parts. Computer crash and a heavy personal experience in my life put me on the sideline for awhile.
I've searched and can't find the link. I really want to find some parts since both pistols in the title need some salvation. Can anyone help me? Not necessarily with the link (would be great), but with a source for good parts.
The 9MM had a barrel link replaced and hasn't fed properly slince. Mis-feeds and stove pipes galore. Two or three rounds and a mis-feed. The link was aftermarket and probably just out of spec. I can't verify since I don't have the spec.
The 40 Cal needs an extractor. The darn thing looks like a teenaged kid that tried to open a bottle with his teeth. (No questions about how I know that please). Anyway, it's got the perfect casing smile in it.
I really want to put both of these back into service.
