I saw a 12GA Stevens pump shotgun at the local Big5 today, I really liked the sights. How do these things handle?

It's a Stevens pump-action 350, it seems to be a copy of an Ithaca 37. The sights are great, the price is ok, and I like the weight of it. Since I'm a lefty, a bottom-dumping shotgun is a very interesting proposition.

So, THR, does anyone have anything to say about these?

do a search for savage stevens 350. I have the early model GRS version. it has the shorter mag tube. it has a slick action, accurate sights, solid but HORRIBLY heavy trigger. otherwise I kinda like it. You may want to get the combo version at Big 5, it has the longer mag tube and extra bbl, i believe the longer one has removable chokes.

I don't know. Stevens hasn't been importing them long, and they weren't popular when others imported them previously. There is very little discussion of them.

I definitely prefer the Ithaca to the 870, but I don't know how their Chinese copies compare.
