Hello,

I am looking into a Stoeger 20ga. Condor Youth model for my wife, can anybody give me insight or opinions on the shotgun?

Thank you.

I have been using a 20 ga. Condor for about 2 years. Not a work of art but goes bang every time. You can't switch which barrel goes first -- always the bottom. Balance is pretty nice and fits me well. I have no idea on the youth model. Haven't had any trouble with it yet -- but then it is only at the 3K count on shells too. At the rate I use it, it will probably outlast me.

I've got the Condor Combo 12 and 20 ga barrels. My 13yo daughter likes the 20 ga but the stock is bit long for her. Only problem was having to tighen up the stock at around 4-5K rounds. Been thinkin' about lookin' at the youth model.

Have your wife try one out to see if it fits. Good gun for a casual shooter. If she's going to get serious then a more expensive gun might be a better choice. But if we'er talking about the occasional round of trap, skeet or sporting clays, 5 stand and/or hunting (say less then 3K rounds per year total), then the Condor is a good choice if it fits.

Awsome gun had it 4 a couple years but one problem when i fire 2 shots back-to-back the gun literelly falls apart from the forend.
