Anybody know if these are any good. I saw one for $300 and thought it would make a good grouse gun. It has auto ejectors which I like and seems to fit me. It's a 20 guage o/u. My other choice a Beretta for $1100.

My old man bought one as a cheap shotgun to shoot trap with. It looked like a well built shotgun at first glance, but after around 1,000 rounds the metal rib inbetween the barrels gave way. Stoger replaced the shotgun and he immediately sold it and bought something decent.

Stay far, far away...

I use a Stoger Condor Competition for trap. It had some issues at first: the trim piece between the barrels came loose (like on a previous post) and the firing pin spring would drag against the inside of the stock due to poor inletting. Being a guy that likes to work on things, I fixed both problems myself.
A little time at the pattern board adjusting the comb and it's working fine. Have about 3K rounds thru it now. It'll do the job if I do mine.
I wanted a low $ way to get into trap. Figured $600 out the door @ Dick's wasn't too bad. It's no Browning/Barretta/etc. but then I don't get worried it will get a scratch either. Serves the purpose well. Mechanical ability is a plus though.
