Does anyone have much experience with Storm Lake barrels? How do they compare to Lone Wolf, KKM, Barsto, etc.?

Storm lake are very high quality. I would put them up there with barsto who is better than Lone Wolf in my experience.

I have no experience with KKM.

LWD barrels were Storm Lake for several years.

Within the normal usage experienced by shooters, the most important thing about a barrel is being well fitted assuming that the barrel is made to proper specs.

I use a Storm Lake barrel to shoot 9mm out of my G22. It was truly a drop in part. That and G17 mags and it was good to go. It is very. very accurate by the way. Seems to be a quality product. I have nothing but good to say about them.

SiGARMS used Storm Lake for their barrels on the first GSRs (1911s)...I have one of their conversion .40S&W to 9mm barrels for my Glock 23 wanna be 19...it works fine and appears high quality...

Yup the gen 1 GSR had nice storm lake barrels. IMHO that was one of the issues with the gun Sig had no experience with fitting a gun made up of parts they did not make. I had one and it was a tack driver. I ended up selling it because it pain to find holsters and needed the cash to get a Les Baer.

i have a glock 24 barrel in my glock 22. haven't had any problems. i uses mines as a side arm for hunting. i notice the rifling starting to rust, thought they were stainless steel??! not a good sign.
