I have a mark 5 that is slam firing. The bolt will not extract out by pulling the trigger I took stock off to try and see with trigger mechanism what is holding the bolt back with no Avail any suggestions how to remove the bolt

By "slam firing" do you mean that the gun fires when you close the bolt?

I wondering the same thing. It is very hard to slam fire, a bolt action that way just because the bolt doesn’t reliably have enough free travel under spring pressure to get enough speed and energy to strike the primer properly.

My Mark V slam-fired on closing the bolt gently. Turns out the trigger group was held to the receiver's bottom by just one screw, which had backed out from recoil/vibrations (I assumed) so the sear couldn't reach the firing pin. I Loctite'd it, snugged it up... and got rid of the rifle.

When I close the bolt gently or hard it automatically goes off No matter how you do it by closing the bolt csuses firing mechanism goes off I am trying to remove the Trigger Mechanism But that does not seem to be coming out in order to release the bolt from receiver is there something special I'm missing in order to pull the trigger system off of bottom of receiver

That makes sense what's happing here maybe. But how do you get to that screw to retoque again

Yes
Are the scope base screws protruding through the receiver?

Maybe try removing the trigger group since the trigger seems to be malfunctioning also.
Been trying to remove trigger group but can't seem to remove and I don't have a scope on so no mounts screws holding bolt back

Go to page 22 and look for part 25 sear and 36 bolt stop. Those would be about all that I can think of that would hang you up as you describe.

Here's a bit better schematic from Numrich Arms: Their sear part number is part 33 and the bolt stop figure 32.

Here's a detail of the trigger. Reminds me of an MOA trigger group from a Model 70. I haven't seen how your trigger group is held in. The M70 just has a couple of pins if memory serves. Anyway, if you can't remove the trigger entirely, knock out the pins holding the assembly together. Not comfortable w/ that? Find a gunsmith. I suspect you have an issue with the sear arrangement or in the bolt where the sear fits in to release the firing pin.
