Just as the titles says, I want to see your go-to shotguns. Be they home defense, military, or LE used we want to see em all. Post the pics and let's keep this thread going.

My Mossberg 590A1 with Surefire forend, ghost ring sights, side saddle, and Knoxx recoil reducing stock. I must admit, I'm in love a little. And the 8+1 capacity makes me tear up a little with joy.

Not very tactical, but it sure works for me.

1947 Winchester Model 12, loaded with 5 rounds of Winchester 9 pellet 00 buck.

The magazine holds 6, but loading 5 allows for a select-a-slug if I need it.

I don't think there's much more tactical than a 12 gauges worth of hot lead bring thrown through the air. Haha. The only functional aspect of my HD gun (above) is the light. Everything else is a result of boredom but was still fun to install.

This may not have all the "tacticool" stuff on it but it can be just as effective in a home defense situation!

Remington 870 Wingmaster 12 gauge.

I think you just put a stock on a pistol, creating an SBR, violating the NFA.

As in the other thread where that pic has been posted, if that's true then anyone in possession of a handgun, a roll of duct tape and any object capable of being inserted into someone's shoulder pocket is guilty of constructive possession of a SBR. If you really feel the need for further comment, take it to PM or ModAlert the post and let people smarter than you or I decide whether it's up to standards.

Some people around here may or may not be well-meaning, or they may or may not be wound a little too tightly...

Hey Real Mags... tell us about that scope... looks like it's mounted backwards but I'm sure it's not. :D

Also what's the trigger reach like with that grip combo on it... you must have long hands.

Your understanding of Constructive Possession is one thing, actually completing the act and posting photos on the web for all to see is another matter.

fwiw, I was poking fun, as were you with the pic in the first place.

Now where did I leave that smiley? :neener:

I don't consider NFA violations to be a laughing matter, believe it or not.

I just have to question whether or not this actually constitutes one, sort of how wearing shoes to the range puts me in constructive possession of a machine gun and bringing a bottle of Dew with me puts me in constructive possession of a suppressor.

Anyway, better safe than sorry, so down it goes. Thankfully, dirty thoughts directed towards BATFE aren't illegal (yet). :)

tell us about that scope
It is an Aimpoint 9000L non magnified 4 moa red dot scope, it is supposed to be less sensitive to recoil than other Aimpoints (not that Aimpoints are recoil sensitive) and Midway has em for 274 bucks.
what's the trigger reach like with that grip combo on it
It feels just like an AR to me, the adapter wraps around the trigger housing making it look longer but it really fills in th gap between the OE grip and trigger housing.

Here's my 590A1-

I have a on older (ribbed forend), wood stockset on the way from Havlin's that I'm going to trim up a bit & refinish. I just like that old school, wood & park look.

Loving the WW1 shotgun!

Nothing says **** like attaching a bayonet that looks like a SWORD to the front of your gun :D

Here's mine (although obviously its not for SD/HD as that is illegal in my country)
