I took my PTR 91F out today and had a little fun.

I have a picture above of my PTR with CETME stock, finished with ebony stain. When it is done, I will install the stock swivel on the bottom of the stock.

The shots on the far left target are from the PTR on the 50 yard range. (Used Czech surplus ammo.) Shots at 11:00 were with the 200 yard sight, and the three around the bullseye are with the 100 yard apeture. I found that anything under 100 yards works best with the V-notch 100 yard. And I did shoot on the 100 yd range and the 200 setting appears to work the best.

Far right picture is 2 targets at 25 yards with the Bullpup G22 in .22 LR.

TRB,

Nice shooting. I also use the 200 peep for all shooting out to 250. Supposedly a "V" notch is faster for moving targets, (according to Sgt York), but I just can't make it work.

The stock looks nice, good job there too.

Yeah the V-notch is kind of weird. But I guess I acclimated to it
yesterday.

Maine is a beautiful state. I have been there about 4 times.

Good to see you out there...
