These guys have Win SPP for sale at $83/1000 and free shipping. 99 left. There does not appear to be a limit.

Not on the scam list.

I put 4 boxes in my cart and went far enough in the checkout process to see if they accepted credit cards and they do.

No other red flags. BBB Approved, or at least they say so.

Anybody have any experience with these guys?

Yep. I used my credit card and purchased a case each of Winchester and CCI SPP. Win was first the purchase then CCI became available…go figure. Two transactions about 2 weeks apart. Shipped about two business days after order. I had no issues. Other than restraining myself from ‘just one more case…’

I will go back if the price is still right…well as right as it can be nowadays.

Be safe.

Thanks guys!

The fact they had not limit was kinda yellow flag to me.

I paid a total of $137 for a box of Federal LPP from Powder Valley the other day. There were only 5 in left in stock and I think they had a 1 or 2 box limit.

I mainly did it as an experiment because I have enough LPP for a while. I had never used Federal and wanted to see how they worked for me. I have only used Winchester and CCI all these years. Now I want options.

They worked fine, but I could not believe how large that Federal box is!

While we are on the subject of primers. I am seein a primer product called "Winchester Components" in a red and white box. Not the "Ready" match primers.

Is this a different product than the blue box WW or just new packaging. I just spend 30 minutes on the web trying to find out, but could not come up with anything.

Yep!! I buy brass/boxer 7.62x39 ammo from them as cheap or cheaper than the lgs wants for Tula steel case.

They are legit.

I bought my last 10k Federal SSP from them just before prices went over $80/k...it was a while ago, I've been buying Genix SPP for my pistols since then and saving the Federal for my revolvers

I've used Target Sports several times, they are a legitimate business.

They are my go-to mail order supplier. Packages come in discrete boxes and they are very reliable.

I've bought at least 30K primers from these guys the past 2 years. If you're going to buy 4, why not just buy the one 5K case? You'll save a bit of money.

Yep Absolutely legit. Don't know how they do it but they have had plenty of primers for the last few months. Intend to give them my Midway purchases in the future.

Thanks, but I was just trying to see if it was a scam site. I wanted to see if they had a limit and get to the payment process to see if they accepted credit cards. As I am sure you know, not accepting them is a red flag.

Probably 90% of my centerfire shooting is 45acp and they had no LPP in stock. SPP seems to be much more available.

Midway has factory second 45acp brass in SPP for $15/100. So I bought a hundred. They looked good and shot just fine so I orderded a few hundred more. That's my contingency plan.

I have enough LPP on hand for right now, but am at the point where I feel the need to scout the market. The prices are bad enough, but that HazMat fee is a killer for one box at a time. If I see 5k of LPP available at one HazMat fee I would jump on it for sure.

Yes, I have bought from them quite a bit of 22LR after the last shortage to stock up at below $20/500 shipped - https://www.targetsportsusa.com/22-long-rifle-ammo-c-202.aspx

Target Sports USA is good to go.

Before, Winchester did not manufacture "match" primers.

Few years back, Winchester introduced "match" primers with higher prices and packaging for regular primers changed.

These are not the Ready "Match" primers. These are called Winchester "Components". It's funny how they are the same price.

I should haver posted this to before to avoid confusion. From Midway:

I think the "Components" primers are same as previous blue box Winchester primers.

And "USA Ready Match" primers are supposedly new.

BTW, here's a listing of various Commercial and Military Winchester primers - https://winchestermilitary.com/Primers

Good link. Thanks.

I was reseraching the differnence between military and commerical primers (I know the mil spec have thicker cups) and I came across this as well.

Just another +1, one of my 2-3 top go-to retailers for ammo. Never lie about inventory, ship fast, pack things well, etc. unlike LOTS of others. Even Norma's direct-sales retail site (which sometimes has real good deals on their great ammo) effed up packing an order once and it was a mess. Like the TargetSport guys.
