Just bought yet another pistol (wife doesn't know yet). I couldn't resist the price. Just wondering what people thought of the Taurus Millennium Pro in the 45 caliber. I own 3 colt 45 among other pistols, but the colts are my favorites. I was looking for a better concealed gun than my 357 revolver. Thanks

I had a PT145. I loved the size and ergonomics. However BOTH mags that came with it would fall out while shooting. After this happened I lost all faith in it and gave it away. Mags are expensive and I did not feel like dealing with Taurus CS.

I had one for a while and loved it. I had the mag problem as well, until I realized that I was hitting the mag release while shooting. I sold it to a friend as his first gun, and he has had no problems.

Btw, Taurus CS has improved greatly in the past couple years.

I don't have the PT145, but i do have the Millennium Pro PT140 and it has been a great gun. Small, about the size of my wifes S&WM&P9c, easy to conceal and it shoots great. Have put about a thousand rounds through it with no problems at all.

I've got a PT145 pro and it is absolutely dead reliable with any and all ammo I feed it. This includes my 185gr Barnes solid copper "flying ash trays" with a hollow point that is nearly as wide as the bullet. It shoots cast semi wad cutters and ball ammo as well. Trigger is great single action and if I ever have a bad primer it has second strike ability. Conceals well, is accurate to a surprising level and doesn't cost a fortune. What's not to like?

Mine's been 100% reliable with 230 grain FMJ & JHP & like he said, more accurate than it should be. Ergos are excellent & it carries nice.

+1 LT1
so accurate i have shoot it in IDPA numerous times & turned in respectable times. use it for winter carry, custom IWB at 4 oclock.
