Anyone mess with the new Taurus Model 44 Ten 410/.45 LC revolver. I like the looks but don't want to get stuck with another crappy pistol. I was looking at the smaller version but I was wondering if it has to much controllable power.

Any help is appreciated!

I saw 2 at a local gun show.Long bbl version was $465.Shorter bbl one was $350.I thought they were overpriced.I have 3 Taurii 85,94 and a .22 pump. All have worked flawlessly.I've noticed a lot of complaints about Taurus over the years.

Not much help but I handled a 4410 at a gun show(stainless version, can't remember barrel length), have a buddy thats very into the whole .45 colt/410 thing for some reason.
It was a nice gun, seemed real well made. Nice and tight, well finished, and what surprised me is it had a nice balance to it. I thought it it would have a funny feel to it with the long cylinder matched to a midsized frame and barrel.
I think its one you'll want to handle before buying, but it looks like a nice gun if you're interested in the crossover thing.

i haven't seen one, but sounds interesting. check the numbers on 410 slugs. impressive, but, don't think it would replace a J frame in the pocket.
