Taurus TH40c...Help and Info

In an earlier post I asked for help finding a new carry .40S&W. I got some great suggestions and am very appreciative to all. As part of my search someone mentioned a Taurus TH40c. It looks like an interesting gun and although I'm a bit leery of Taurus, I do have a model 92 and it works just fine.

When I posted on the Taurus board I got a bunch of looks but not one reply.

Don't know whether it's because I'm not a regular or it's just not a gun folks have any experience with. I know they aren't real expensive; get good reviews; Taurus supposedly has terrible customer service; and I can't find one of any of the big dealers who has them in stock.

So I'm asking if anyone knows who has some and what the going price is both new and used.

Also if anyone has any hints or suggestions or opinions, please share.

Not too many to be had lately but here's one (last one) at Shoot Straight for $259. I have a full size TH40 and it's been 100% reliable for more than 500 rounds, both factory and reloads. By the way, Shoot Straight is a great place to buy from. Last month I ordered a Kahr P380 from them on a Monday and it was at my FFL on Thursday.
