Ted Nugent backs 2nd Amendment on Donny Deutch Show

So there i sat while eating my fresh made buffalo jerky watching donny deutch trying to hammer ted nugent on animal rights,deutch asked nugent ''do animals have rights'' and ted replied yes,they have the right to be eaten.Im still laughing over that one but afterwords ted said of coarse they dont have rights only people have rights and ted also suggested that an animal shouldnt be abused either.Well you knew it was comming and yes donny deutch attacked our 2nd ammendment as well by trying to make it look like gun advocates are trying to put guns in the hands of babies and that the only reason to own a gun ,other then for hunting is to kill people.Ted responded by telling deutch not to be absurd and mentioned that we need to make our children responsible by educating them on the dangers of guns and to teach the children not to touch them but to show them what they are capable of doing.Ted also mentioned the fact that millions of people everywhere are including shooting as a family sport and that its about the competativeness in shooting that draws people to owning firearms.To sum it all up Ted answered deutchs questions about guns and the 2nd ammendment in a mature and intellagent manner and if I lived in//// MICHIGAN (WHERE TEDS RUNNING FOR OFFICE)/// he would most definatly have my vote.

No, in June he was preparing to toss his hat in the ring. In September of this year, after miving to TX, he said that the timing wasn't right for his family and is making plans to run in 2010.

If our current gov is not re-elected (which I don't see happening) He'll have to run as an independent.

I think Uncle Ted is also certain that no one can dethrone the current monarch.
 
I have watched donny before, but I think he enjoyed attacking Ted. He seemed like he was baiting and switching...almost cutting him off.

He kept calling him Ultra conservative.

I guess anyone who owns a gun must be stockpiling up for a nuke attack.BS

Fake smiling DICK DeVos, son of Scamway's founder, will be running against Jennifer Gramhom.
I have met Dick, and he is a Dick!!! He is a Republican, a far right republican.
His ego, and his silverspoon atitude, makes Wild Ted look like a better choice.
I guess Dickie, will get at most 30% of the vote.....
Jennifer at least admitted that CPP, (CCW) that she was wrong in opposing it, thinking that it would be a Wild West, with shooting everywhere.
Dickie cares only for himself, thinking this would be a stepping stone for the White House, after Engler, our last Republican, messed up the state big time, financially....

1.) Not all anti-gunners are A$$ holes, I didn't see any apology

as much as i like ted, lets not get crazy with this ted for pres stuff. he's a great guy, but we're already the laughing stock of the world, do we need to egg on other countries by electing cat scratch fever?

ps this is not meant to be taken seriously
 
The UN has pretty much disarmed the rest of the world, so what do we have to be that concerned about?
Besides, I know he's not a realistic choice for national politics. He's too honest.
 
Pretty sure that was a re-run. I remember a post about this airing back when it appeared the first time. At the end of the show they advertised that Nugent's next appearance will be Jan 5.

It'd be fun to watch him slap the deutch bag silly again :p
 
What was important was that Ted was very articulate and knowledgeable regarding politcal issues, especially guns. Most of the media think 2nd Amendment rights activists are unintelligent, trigger-happy nuts. I was very impressed with Ted's replys to Donny's questions/statements. However, his wife needed to be quiet. She kept comparing guns to her Vette. :rolleyes: (bless her heart)I know she meant well....:barf: She does look good though!!
Good job Ted!! Now we need a Ted and Michael Moore face-off. Heh-heh!

He could have done better on one question. Deutch asked him about the thousands of children killed each year by guns. His response was that most of these were gang members. While this was true, I think it would have been far more powerful to have asked Deutch where he got that number. Whatever he said, the followup would be to point out that it only worked if a child was defined as someone under age 25 and that the source of the number was, therefore, a liar.

But, then again, I always know the answers on the quiz shows when I'm sitting in my livingroom.
 
Yea, I though the host was trying to be fair, at first, then as the interview went on, he gave up all pretenses. amazing self-control on Ted Nugent's part.

I think the host really got one in the nose when he tried to portray killing animals to eat them and make clothes as wrong. "Your leather jacket is just a fur coat with a shave." Host insisted he didn't own one, but the point was already made, and anyone at home with a leather jacket purse or shoes had to get the message.
