Ted Nugent to attend State of Nation tonight

Uncle Ted does an outstanding "Barack" burp. Pinhead leftie media will be sure to bring up the multiple wives, hunting controversies, and anything else they can find to trash him. When Anthony Bourdain visited Ted and got to try out some of his full auto hardware, Bourdain had the biggest grin on his face while he was rock and rolling. Drove the pinheads on his web page nuts.

I also want to know what he did to hurt our cause last night.

I find it interesting that we have one thread running complaining that Wayne LaPierre is too old, boring, and white to represent us, and concurrently, we hav a thread complaing that Ted is too colorful.

Concur the irony of this. It seems there are those who will not be satisfied with any NRA spokesmodel short of Moses.

No irony... just looking for a happy medium who can accurately represent the average gun owner without coming off as out of touch as Wayne or as crass as Ted. I'm glad they are both high profile, but I think the NRA needs a younger, and frankly smarter, fellow as their front man. If he weren't already in politics, I think Marco Rubio would be ideal. A well spoken and well adjusted former officer of the armed forces would be a good choice in my opinion, too. Heck, even the guy who runs the "military arms channel" on youtube under the handle "sturmgewehre" would be very very good in my opinion.

Nothing that I caught. But that was the point of my post above; he attended the State of Union. That's it, no more and no less.

As long as there is a "conservative" "right winger" etc, speaking for RKBA, the lefties among us will always complain about them.

Conservative and Right Wing don't go together, remember there is a very strong difference. The far Right has been anything but conservative over the last 10 years. Merely asking for a better champion because one thinks the current is unsatisfactory for a myriad of reasons that aren't political does not make one a lefty.

I want a better 2a RKBA champion, that is all.

I watched the whole thing and didn't even see Ted Nugent. I suspect whatever channel I watched (frankly I didn't pay attention to that) deliberately kept the camera off him.

Well, there just was not much to see.

He sat there in his blue jeans and sports jacket...pretty reserved. I would imagine, bored would be the appropriate word.

He did give some interviews before and after, but the only people that will read them are people that actively look for them.

I'm glad he's now a Texan. You guys can have him.

Edit: also, I don't think I've ever heard anyone, let alone Ted Nugent, refer to Democrats as 'ruthless'. LOL I got a good laugh out of that!

If we've gotta defend/justify the Ted, we're screwed. Who would you prefer when faced with tyranny, Mr. Mgoo or Braveheart? I understand.

I like Ted. Occasionally, he goes a bit off the rails with his persona on his own time, but his interview responses when he's on other folk's turf (e.g. Piers) strike me as pretty darn solid. Have any of you met Ted? He's a normal, polite guy in passing.

Can we get Mosses? Is that an option? +1 on liking Ted, I love his music, and glad he is such a strong supporter of the RKBA, but he can go a little off the deep end on occasion.

I am a big Ted fan. Not all of "US" are vanilla......... Being outspoken and passionate about what you believe in does not make you nuts.

As long as we are willing to sit back and try to have a reasonable discussion about how the left is destroying the 2nd amendment then we will lose.
Patrick Henry would have worn a loin cloth, swung on to the stage on a vine and played guitar, if it would have made a point to serve our purpose.
We forget that the Left has continued to lie and cheat and steal our rights away, while denying the lying, cheating and stealing are taking place. At this point I think it's about time to then turn the tables and be as damned nasty as they are.
We very well may be the last generation to enjoy our freedoms if we seek to be gentlemen. Perhaps it is time to be loud mouthed insufferable zealots if we choose to pass our Constitution and it's freedoms forward to another generation.
I can only submit to you that those who were terrorist in this great Country in the 60's are now held as idols of our current POTUS.
In that light I can only hope a thousand Ted Nugents a day rise among us to raise hell.

My vote would be for Ben Shapiro. Brilliant, well spoken, well mannered, and darn good in a debate.

You're right. Being outspoken and passionate does not make one nuts. Being nuts is what makes one nuts, and Ted is a nut.
