that I can buy online. Looking for a heavy bullet, of solid construction, anywhere from 68 to 70 gr, or maybe even up to 77 grains - any more than that and my 1 in 9 twist rifle may not stabilize it. Purpose is medium-longish range testing/target shooting (300-500 yards), and possibly hunting deer (head shots only). There's squat in the way of anything over corbon's 53 gr SP in the local stores here. What about Black Hills ammo?

Winchester makes the 64gr. Power Point Plus.

Federal makes one or two weights of Trophy Bonded Bear Claw. 55gr. and 62gr. I think.

You might try www.wholesalehunter.com and see if they have anything in stock.

the black hills reman(blue box) is good stuff. i get good results with the 68gr in my savage, which is 1/9. about $18-20 per box of 50.

cabelas carrys it.

from the link; "This is the same ammunition the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit uses in 600-yd. matches. Incredibly accurate, it has the capability to produce 2" groups at 300 meters."
