Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

What will be your Thanksgiving gun?
I think I will be wearing this one tomorrow morning when I put the turkey in the smoker. Just my wife and I, kids went to their inlaws.

We are still cooking a full thankgiving meal just for us two. (and probably freeze a lot of it).

I'll put my turkey in the smoker at 9:00am tomorrow morning and yeah! 4 days off.

Got lots of cherry for a nice wood fire and quiet time with my wife which we never seem to get anymore.

Happy Thanksgiving, if it goes boom, that's all you need. Have fun while the turkey is cooking to perfection. Then, take a nap.

The last race for the Formula One season does not start until Friday over at Abu Dubai.

I'm behind in my bush hogging, so I'll probably be spending some quality time with my tractor until Thanksgiving dinner is served.:)

My Thanksgiving gun will always be my 6” Ruger GP-100.

My last deer hunt was on Thanksgiving Day maybe 25 years ago with a cousin and his friend that had some land outside Llano, Texas. We were stalking deer and my Ruger was on my hip.

My cousin got the only shot on deer that day with his .30-30 lever gun with the other two of us witnessing that shot. And a successful shot it was.

Unfortunately, none. I'm going to my parent's place and they don't like guns. A bit after getting my carry permit, they asked that I don't carry at their place. They are my 80 year old parents, so I don't handle that the way I would with most other people (not going there). If they were coming here, I'd have a gun on (probably my S&W 66 that is finally ready to carry- range tested, cleaned, and I have both an IWB and OWB holster to choose from). But since I'm going there, I'll only have a pocket knife (since it is a very safe neighborhood, I'm even going with a more utilitarian vs. "tactical" pocket knife, a Case Trapper, red bone jigged knife).

If I go somewhere before going there, or after I come back, it will probably be my 3" Taurus Defender that also is finally ready to carry (finished range testing it a couple days ago, cleaned, and I have a decent IWB holster for it).

Edit:
Well, my brother (he lives with me) used the veggies I needed to make my stuffing so I ended up going to the grocery store for mushrooms, carrots, onions and celery. So I did carry my Taurus 856 Defender for about 30min on Thanksgiving.
