Have they published the names and addresses of the armed guards and put their locations on a map?

I guess more guns is the answer when its your ass on the line.
In ALL of the articles on this it is clear that the paper did not receive death threats. The police and security both state the none of the letters contained any threats.Think for a second why they did this, and if you were in their situation, would you do the same?
Well, gee, if I were receiving as many death threats as they are (anthrax scare, anonymous emails), I'd hire armed guards, too. They don't deserve death threats, which only "prove" to the other side is what stupid, ignorant and violent morons gun owners "are," and only throw fuel on the gun-grabbing fire.
I'm sure somebody will come along with "they brought it on themselves," but NOBODY needs to be threatened with illegal action.
Do the guards have assault pistols with high capacity magazines?
(In defense of Journal News): ...Well, gee, if I were receiving as many death threats as they are (anthrax scare, anonymous emails), I'd hire armed guards, too. ..."
McBride had filed at least two reports with the Clarkstown Police Department due to perceived threats. However, the police did not find the communications in question actually threatening. ... Police said the email “did not constitute an offense” and did not contain an actual threat.
....
The editors have said they believe knowing where guns are is in the public’s interest. The newspaper has also taken a strident editorial position in favor of strict gun control.
....
they have said a map listing all pistol permit holders in Putnam County will soon to be posted. [Update 1/2/13---Putnam County officials have since announced their intention to not comply with the Journal News' request for the names and addresses of pistol permit holders]
