the arguments of the anti

So just for kicks I've decided to compile a list of any arguments/points/etc. the antis use and develop an effective counter argument. Your job is to help me come up with arguments that they use.
Here is what I have thought up really quickly...

-having guns in a home increase the chance of the residents being harmed by them:banghead:
-guns only escalate a bad situation
-guns are evil, they kill people
-gun control will take guns out of criminal hands
