I've been putting off buying a tumbler for too long. I've been washing my brass in hot water & liquid Tide detergent, and with fair results....
The other day I was trolling Midway.com looking for replacement handles for my Lee hand held auto prime tools, I found them and sent them to my "wish list" while I looked around for a few other items.
Now I've had their Frankford Arsenal tumbler kit in my wish list for a while now, and have watched the price go from $69.95, down to $60.95, and back up. My birthday was this past Wednesday (8/25) and Midway had sent me a special B'day promo with special reduced "Birthday Prices" on everything on my wish list. The tumbler kit was $52.95...so I finally jumped on this good price and included it on my order.
Today my order shows up, and I set up my new tumbler, poured in the corn cob media, a little polish, and 150 rounds of brass.....with that, the motor on this thing dies. All it would do is hum. and I even took the bottom plate off and coaxed the motor to spin, but no dice.
I call Midway, and they are sending me another tumbler, and told me to keep this one. The guy said they had gotten a shipment of bad motors, and mine must have slipped through the cracks. He also told me that if I can find a replacement motor for it, then I'll have two working tumblers. No sooner than I got off the phone with them, I got an e-mail confirming my order of 1 replacement tumbler at no cost, no shipping, and no returns.
This is why I like dealing with this company, they carry everything but powder and primers, they have a fair & honest shipping policy, the NRA round-up policy, their prices are some of the best, and they stand behind everything they sell....you can't ask for more then that
