If you have taken any part in an event sponsored by the CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Unit), I guarantee that you have met one of the shooting communities most hard working individuals. She is the most knowledgable person there, the hardest working, a wonderful mother and a model individual in every manner. She is absolutely irreplaceable. But the CMP must not seem to share the same appreciation for her.
Yesterday, Ms. Sheri Judd let go from the CMP. She was not given any cause or justification for her dismissal. Only that she was no longer needed. Well I beg to differ! She has brought so much to the CMP. From new programs and matches, to the foundations in all of their training programs (civilian/military), or the countless instructors like myself out there that has learned from her programs. From interservice matches for the military, to youth Junior Olympic/JROTC/American Legion/4-H, and to the coveted National Matches at camp perry, she is the one that everyone goes to for help and information. She practically ran that place.
The CMP will never be the same. It is all down hill form here. I dont know who they think is going to replace someone like her, but I wish them luck. Cause no one can do what she did. I weep for the future of the CMP.

Here's the deal though. CMP as we know it is living on borrowed time. Unless they can latch onto another vast quantity of arms it's gonna be their swan song real quick.
