Past: Deflowerer of virgins, connoisseur of beer and spirits around the world, flight engineer on aircraft dedicated to the hunting and killing of those godless soviet communists lurking beneath the waves in their not so quiet submarines, USN 1971-1992.

Present: I spend a lot of time saying such witty things as, "Stupid hurts", "What makes this cough you have had for two weeks an emergency at 3am tonight?", and "No, I don't think you can get a refill of your MS Contin here in the ER." RN ER/Trauma

Future: Who knows?

Retired Master Gunnery Sergeant of American Marines...1971-1999.

Own/operate an 18 wheeler (refrigerated) with my own DOT Authority. Run one trip every week, 600 mi out, 600 back (one day out, one day back) for the last 3.5 yrs.

For the 5 yrs prior to that, if you ever thought about having/wanting it...I hauled it. When our nest became empty, my beloved got a CDL and we worked together until I found my present gig. She stays home with the dogs and cats now.

I'm a "C" class limited shooter in IPSC. Aspiring to be an "A" class shooter.

Life is good.
 
Another Day Closer To Retirement

Past: factory work, truck driver, repo man, school teacher.
Present: operating room nurse.
Also a very small business on the side designing and building stained
glass panels.
Future: hoping to retire soon and spend my time at the range.(I married a younger woman with a good job)

I am currently doing my rotation in ER for my MS ACNP - that is so funny. I was just saying that very thing last night.....

"So you have been hurting for 5 days now and you pain is a little better, you have not seen a doctor but you are here tonight in the ER for pain meds?"

"Let me get this strait....you are here for me to see you foot because it is red and itches????"

I will never get understand what some people believe constitutes an emergency.
 
I work for an unnamed Federal agency. My job is internet forensics and my mandate is to peruse internet sites to find leads to wrongdoing as relates to BATF and homeland security issues.

Of course, I could just be razzing ya'all.
