Note to JUBO...
hey JUBO, i now have two handguns mounted with hubble type scopes:
Taurus 970 Tracker .22 LR
Ruger .22/45
they get a little on the top heavy side, but all that glass sure helps out bad eyes! i am a little disapointed in the TrueGlo 2X42mm red dot on the Taurus due to some qualities of the projected red dot. however, it does group at 15 yards at about 2" or so. not bad FOR ME for a two power.
the Simmons on the Ruger is worth its weight in gold, this gun shoots like a laser!!! i have taken to replacing my rifle with this handgun for squirrel hunting in the mountains - Eric
