For the past 4 months Dianne Feinstein has had the media spotlight concerning her assault weapons ban. With Reids announcement of the AWB not making it to the floor (as a whole), I believe we as gun owners should go on the offensive to remove people like her from power. *I want to keep this High Road so no physical threats ect*. While she is an elected official, obviously she an established track record of violating (94awb, and attempt at the current) our 2A rights. Now would be the time for gun owners and organizations to come together to de-seat these people from power. But what are the other means we can do? Reelection doesn’t seem to clear the seats of these specific anti-2a folks so what our other options? Can we sue? What would the basis be? Petitions in my mind are weak and would be shot down by the POTUS. Ideas, thoughts. We as gun owners are going to have to start thinking out of the box and normal channels if we are going to be able to sustain future challenges on the national stage and locally as well. The time has come to remove people who are not just anti-2s, but Anti-Constitutional.

Not saying they are impossible to unseat, but many elected officials such as the one you cite appear to have built a power/support base in their districts as to make politics a career versus citizen service. What we have seen recently is long-time elected officials beeing ousted in primaries by new candidates who appear more polarized and appealing to the purist (for lack of a better term) elements of their party. Sadly, going to the middle does not seem to be a viable strategy in such polarized conditions, so who would one unseat someone such as Feinstein given the makeup of that respective district? Someone more polarized?

Well funded grassroots with an excellent marketing campaign (telling people what to think) and an effective boots-on-the-ground organizational structure appears to be the best option IMHO. It worked for POTUS twice.

Best I can come up with is to get enough CA citizens to sign a recall petition so she has to rerun. It would force her to spend from her war chest. It wouldn't likely get her kicked out but it would send a message and worry the less popular ones.

Go after her finances. Politicians often have an Achilles Heel over unlawful investments, campaign contributions and use, etc.
