3" SP-101 .357 magnum.
But I'm thinking about selling the GP-100 and trying a Super Blackhawk at some point.
 
It would have to be a 4" S&W Model 57 in a centerfire and a 4" Colt Diamondback in a 22. One is a difficult number to deal with.
 
4" S&W M-29 - You can load it down where it shoots like a .38 target gun or load it up like Elmer Keith and go bear hunting. It's also small enough to carry with the right rig.
 
bending the rules, i know, but i have to go with a matched pair. blackhawk 7.5" barrel for .38's and .357's, super blackhawk 10.5" barrel for .44spl and.44mag. gotta have the barrel length to make the most of the round, and with that spectrum of loads, you can do any and everything needed. small game for the table to zombie defense.
(did i mention i have all of the above and am more than a little bit biased?)
