Hubster and I have a system. If he gets a gun, then next time it's my turn. Then it's his turn. At one point he got two in a row, which is partly how I managed to get both my Kimber Ultra Carry II AND my new Beretta A391 Urika in the same 3-month period 
And we have a standing "argument" about who's the better shot at 100 yards. I'll concede he's better at handguns. There is no X ring left when he shoots at 7 yards. Mine aren't that well grouped. But at 100 yards with either a .22lr or my .243 I can beat him
Shooting sports are our favorite hobby. I go by myself (did just yesterday, see my frustrated post on cleaning my Kimber...:banghead: ) and we go together and our youngest son, who has outgrown his earlier irresponsibility, comes shooting with us too. It relaxes me no end to go over with a few hundred rounds of ammunition and work on my handgun skills. It's good for my ego to go work on my rifle shooting It's just flat out FUN to go shoot trap!
Have her read Pax's site and tell her that her shooting sisters are glad she's found this. She'll love it.
