This is true, but to be practical, I never really look at the stuff like over penetration. I wouldn't choose either the tok or cz to go to war, I have much better options. I only target shoot paper, gongs and cans ect, so the penetration is moot for war but is good for target shooting.I think .357SiG is the modern incarnation of the Tokarev concept. The 7.62x25mm cartridge has two things going against it as a commercial pistol cartridge, first it was invented over 80 years ago in the Soviet Union therefore it isn't new and exciting, so no gun writer is going to gush over it, and second as a defensive pistol round it has serious over penetration problems.
