Thinking about re-revolvering

Fair enough, and duly noted.

For the record, I did myself see a K-Frame .22 for $550 or so.
Once... about 5 years ago...

The deals exist, but I guess my larger point was that the OP might not care to wait for the deal of a lifetime.

OP: Congratulations! Nice score.

In full disclosure, I had been haunting Gunbroker for awhile and managed to snag both of those with opening bids on no reserve auctions unopposed.

There was plenty more that got away after my top bid got out done.

You can pay with time or money, which do you have more of?

I am surprised. I *assumed* that auctions typically stay low until the last frantic minutes and then skyrocket, so I didn't pay much attention to them. *shrug* My loss. However, I believe I did get a pretty good deal.

Alot of times they do. Every once in awhile they don't for some reason or another and I get a good deal on something. I'd say 90% of my bids don't win anything honestly.

Start by bidding the most you'll pay for
what the gun is worth to you. Often
times bidding ends below the gun's
worth to you and that's what you'll pay.
