I've been putting off new grips for my S&W 22A-1, but saw that Altamont had these on clearance, so I dared not pass them up. The factory grips were starting to decompose and were getting sticky. These fit great and really fill up my chunky hands. She hasn't been to the range in quite a while, so no excuses now! Just thought I'd share a before/after pic.

SparkyV can you disclose how expensive the altamont grips were? I have a S&W 22S that I'd like to reshoe

Very nice upgrade! Never cared for the factory grips on the 22A-1; didn't like the way they looked or felt. Those new grips you got from Altamont are a big improvement and appear to be much more ergonomic too!
