To my fellow RKBA/2A defenders,
There are citizens of our beloved Republic who are currently installing a multiple choice option in the Bill of Rights. As citizen patriots, it is our responsibility to make sure such efforts are soundly defeated.
We will respect and defend everyone's right to exercise the privileges granted by our Constitution, as long as they afford such respect and defense in return.
As part of this effort, it is imperative for us to maintain credibility in both the logical soundness of our positions and the correctness of our data.
No one, including we RKBA/2A defenders, are entitled to our own set of facts. As such, when we quote the Founding Fathers, cite crime statistics, etc., we must ensure the authenticity of such information. Those who would take our liberties are quite skilled at spin, invalid analysis, selective amnesia, etc. We must avoid these practices at all times or we will find ourselves looking much as they do, pouring gasoline on fires and then claiming to be the only one with a hose.
