Thoughts about the Bushnell Forge?

I'm considering buying a Bushnell Forge 4-16X 50mm SFP with 34mm tube and an illuminated dot. The MAIN reason I am thinking about it is the reticle. The Bushnell Outlet guy said the reticle is a German creation. The dot operates easily, some do not. I'm becoming increasingly sold on dot scopes. My eye seems to follow the dot better than a cross-hair. The thought of buying a "Made in China" scope is hard to bear, but I really like that reticle....at least that part is German. Do any of you out there have this scope and what can you tell me about it.......good, bad, and in-between. Thanks for your help.

I had a 4.5-27x50 SFP and i really liked it.....kinda wish i still had it actually.

From that experience I have no issue saying that if you like the reticle the scope will work well for you.

I had one on an MPA “Competition Ready” rifle, whole setup was great, used it in a couple of PRS matches before I gave the rifle/scope to my nephew.

What price?

The price is good. $450. MSRP is over $1,000. Only drawback is the weight...it weighs a ton.

That’s a good deal. I didn’t find it overly heavy for what it was.
