With my aging eyes, the standard buckhorn sights on most lever action rifles no longer work that well for me. I'm considering getting the Winged Skinner sights for my Marlin 336 .30-30 and the barrel mounted rear for my Henry Big Boy Steel Carbine .357.
What do you all think of these options? On the Henry, how does the barrel mount compair to the receiver mount? I like the idea that I'm less likely to need to change the front sight.
