I gotta disagree with other pumpgunners getting a penalty when Dave McCracken is in play. His teachings should give all of your shotgunners a bonus.

I respectfully propose:
First Strike
Shotgunner: Dave McCracken may block flying creatures. Tap to do 3 damage to target flying creature.
Instructor: All shotgunners under your control gain +1/+0.
Oh, and he should be a Legend.
