Someone please explain to me these different colors and numbers and symbols?

There's a picture of El Tejon at www.kirkfreemanlaw.com and get -5 for gunsmithing :D

The Dave McCracken card should read 'Summon "Serious" Pumpgunner" :p

I've never played a card game such as this. Is this like a role playing game? Can someone elaborate on how this is played.

Before I got sick i used to play MTG a lot. I still have a 50 caliber can full of the cards. Anyone in NJ interested in them? If so send me a PM. I dont use them anymore. They're from Unlimited through 6th.

Edited to add that i cannot give them away due to the money i have invested in them, however I have no use for them so I will let them go at the best offer. I appologize to the moderators, didnt mean for this to happen. Either send me a PM or an E-mail.

The fiancee brought home one of those meal deals from KFC with a half-gallon of Diet Coke.. I got so busy doing those cards I wasn't paying attention, and drank the whole dang thing. Brilliant.

Skunk: I didn't know Kirk had a web site, I may redo his card.

As for Dave.. excellent points. Look for the Revised Edition soon ;)


EDIT: for those of you that have no idea what we're spoofing, check here for information about the game. I have to admit to being pretty hard core from 1993 to about 1997.
 
Where are the following cards?

LawDog, with the power of stunning quips and the ability to summon lovestruck fuzzy animals... +3 vs Saint Nick or other Holiday Avatars.

Correia, with his 200 yard headshots? +3 vs Maniquins and Tornados. - 1 vs Tents.

Tropical Z? Summons Ugly Chunk of Pistol. Stuns all other players for 1 round.

Mike Irwin - Summon Anti-S&W Bevet. +3 vs S&W.
 
The rest of the THR crew is going to take a little longer, for a couple reasons: card art has to be created, as opposed to just grabbing a photo off their web site. Also, I don't know as much about some of these other folks, so smart-assed flavor text may be harder to come by :)

I'm committed though.. this is fun.

I can not believe so many people play Magic the Gathering. I still have a large collection of revised, fallen empire, fourth, etc from that time period, about five years ago.

For those wondering, the colors and numbers in the upper right are what is needed to cast or summon the card from your hand.

The lower right is attack/defence for creatures.

There are five colors(elements), and some multi color, and colorless cards.

It is a fun, but expensive game, you spend about 10 cents for each card give or take which adds up.
