I'm new at this and finally settled on using Silencer Central. Having a hard time understanding the thread sizes. I'd like to be able to use the suppressor on my CZ 75 Omega and get an after market drop in barrel for my Colt 1911. Is there a standard or more common thread size and then specialty sizes for other applications? What is the most common thread size?
Thanks for any help.

I have a Banish 45 in ATF jail that I should have before the end of the year. It and a Banish 30 were ordered over the phone and there was at least one adapter in the order to make sure they fit stuff I already own. Most of what I have is either 1/2 - 28 or 5/8 - 24. From the research I have done, those two sizes were the most common barrel threads on the firearms that I own. Not sure what thread is on the CZ 75. I know there are metric threads on some of the imported barrels.

Ooops, thanks Gary. Yes, I went ahead and ordered the 1/2 and .578 and even the one for the .40 S@W.
The guy I spoke with was crazy sharp and knew it all.
