Me again. I am still researching. I don't buy to many rifles so I want to make sure I get the right one for me.
1. I thought The CZ web site shows the CZ 527 American in .223 to be a 3 round magazine and the CZ 527 Varmint to be a 5 round. But now it looks like both are 5 round? Also, gun broker pics show everything as having the long magazine. To me, I don't like the line of the gun as much when the magazine is not flush with the stock. Is everything going to the 5 round mag that hangs down? Also, not sure about twist rates. Web sight might be off. Not sure.
2. How do I get the best looking wood (stock)? Do I only buy from pics or in person? Buds has good prices, but seems like there are no dealers in my town and auctions with pictures may not be pics of the same rifle. Any tips to get great looking wood grain?
3. The stocks on the American and Varmint are more straight than the other models which tend to angle down. Is that due to the use of iron sights verses a scope?
One more . . .
4. I have been looking at other models but still like the CZ. I like savage too, but have a couple rimfires already. Any other models I should like at that are highly accurate and have wood stocks price probably has to be below $800
Thanks for helping.
