 I didn't know he was running!

Gotta blow another paycheck on contributions right now...

Thanks for the heads up!

I don't know, my big issue with THR is some members having a "higher and mightier than thou" type attitude...

I love how everyone always knows best....

And then they start threads about what words we should use or how we should behave.

Use the .460, dude. Everybody knows that.
You're not listening, here. The .460 is the invention of Smith & Wesson. S&W is the devil since, even though they were under different ownership at the time, they caved to the Clintonista's demands! Don't bother me with facts; I've got opinions! :)

When I need to choose a gun that works against zombies, but also looks good enough to open-carry when I meet Sarah Palin at WalMart, this is the place to ask! She and I will discuss Bigfoot sightings, how bad gun shops are, and we will compare the contents of our SHTF tactical wheelbarrows until the mall ninja JBT's come in their black helicopters to take me away.

Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. We all know that zombies have weak flesh. You can put a stake right through their chest plate with little effort. But that doesn't mean you can get away with a less powerful round. We also know for a fact that there is only a small target area on a zombie that will allow for a one-stop-shot. You have to hit them directly in the heart or head and make it explode. This is where the .460 comes in. No other handgun cartridge comes close to matching its flat trajectory. Keeping in mind that zombies roam in hordes, we now realize that a single shot with a flat flying .460 can be aimed properly at the first zombie's heart and after demolishing it, can continue on through several more zombie hearts behind it. A less flat shooting round would drop trajectory after the first couple zombies and merely cause harmless flesh wounds. But not the .460. It would keep flying through the masses, hitting that sweet spot. This becomes extremely important seeing how you only have five shots before you have to reload. And even if it is the end of the world you might still have problems keeping a large stash on .460 cartridges on hand. You have to make do with what you have.

Where at and at what speed?

I was alluding to the Palin's and amongst other things shared, was Mr. Palin is a champion snow machine racer.

Hey, this is teh Intrawebz don't you know?
I mean folks don't have to know what a Palin, or snowmachine is, they just want to post and ask "what gun for____?'

*grin*

With the Economy and fear of looming Great Depression 2 coming, maybe we will be talking about"
looters
riots
good squirrel & rabbit recipes

Waaaaaay to few topics on zombies and Zumbo's.....(insert your own witty alliteration here)....

So here lately seems like the buzz word and topic these past couple of days is Straw man purchase
I'd NEVER purchase a handgun for the Straw Man... after all, he doesn't have a brain! On the other hand, I'd be glad to pass along a Nagant revolver to the Cowardly Lion! :p

The newest threads comming:

1. I'm going to the zoo with my 5 year old, what caliber for escaped elefants?

2. Now that _______ has been elected, where should I bury my Lorcins?

3. I have 12,000 rounds stockpiled for my AK47, should I get more ammo?

4. If you're being attacked by an entire graveyard full of zombies, are 5 shots from a S&W J-frame really enough?

Straw Man?
C'mon it's almost Halloween, time for the traditional Halloween
-what caliber for zombie/ghost/vampire/werewolf/trick-or-treater/phantom/etc.

It's the only time of year the mods let us get totally silly with this stuff ;)
