Just noticed a listing for the 42nd Annual TN/KY Rifle Show on April 30-May 1 in Knoxville. Anybody been to the previous shows? I was wondering if it would be worth the trip and if it is limited to members only or if the general public can go- the ad didn't specify one way or the other.

I attended the Contemporary Longrifle Association annual show in Lexington, Ky a few years back, it was definitely worthwhile.

Take ya a bit of money and a droolin towel cause your gonna need both. They are outstanding shows. Well worth the journey. Lucky for me a 5 hour drive. The craftsmanship of the pieces of art is unbelievable.

Cool. Do you have to be a member to get into the Tennessee show?

Got in touch with the organizer, he said anyone can get in with a $10 admission. He also said there will be a lot of iron mounted Southern rifles on display. I'll be going, love looking at old guns.
