I don't know about anyone else, but I tried one of these a few years ago, and it had worse hammer bite than the old Browning Hi Power or early 1911 Colt. They should have put a longer tang on it.

shadow- show us where they are cheaper. The $259 I found with shipping is the cheapest I've seen , even the ones on gun broker cost more.

Um, well, I know my dealer, and he already had an order coming in from Davidsons, and we dickered, he cut me a deal for 40 over his cost. So if you know what you are looking for, you can find them, I have seen them go for ~100 classed as 'jumk' guns in good used to near new, by people who had no idea they had pre EAA imports.

They look like a compact copy of the Tokarev but I'm not sure it's correct to call it a Tok.

You call it a Tokarev....
Because it is a Slightly modified tokarev
one less lock lug
but otherwise a direct copy of a M57, with a shortened frame

I know you don't have one, otherwise you wouldn't say that
