Went in to pick up a gun I had shipped to my local FFL. He actually said..."Don't you think you have enough guns."
That was about 8 guns ago.
Abolutely, and as in anything, at all times past and resent.. That bears repeating. All of the serious issues of which I have been been directly knowledgeable have involveed matters other than weapons or use of force. As with any aspect of our lives in this society at this present time.
Of course, but in any legal proceeding, one may have the remainder of the conversation or documentation brought forth in order to provide context.
I was thinking more of an editorial. However, in a legal proceeding, it is likely that trying to explain away the comment would cause even more damage than has been done.Of course, but in any legal proceeding, one may have the remainder of the conversation or documentation brought forth in order to provide context.
Nor shoud we expect to, absent an ambiguous shooting,On my rural road, half the driveways are posted like this -- and even with all the King County and Microsoft millionaires buying up all the property around here, I've not heard a whimper about this.
Not creating evidence that can prove damaging has absolutely nothing to do with 'political correctness", and it never has.Sorry, but I will err on the side of having to be held accountable for my words rather than bowing to the lords of political correctness, the woke and prejudiced vocal minority.
applying for my C&R here! Here's how I look at it. My firearms break down into the following groups:
1. Competition guns. I shoot on the U.S. International Muzzle-Loading Team and the North-South Skirmish Association. Dabble in ISSF pistol and NRA Bullseye on occasion, but the muzzle-loaders are the primary interest. But between the USIMLT and N-SSA, I'm shooting 10 events...four with original firearms. And with all of them, you need a backup. If you compete with an original, you need a repro gun to train with (try getting parts for a 220-year old flintlock pistol).
2. Self-defense guns. Figure on a pocket pistol for discretion, a compact gun for winter carry, a rifle or shotgun for the house.
3. Collectibles. OK, I like weird. Not to mention having finally learned the First Rule of C&R - that when they import guns, buy two...because the instant the imports dry up, the price doubles. Sell one that you bought and recoup the price on both.
Yeah, not sure where you live, but you clearly haven't been paying attention to how prosecutors in certain jurisdictions have been deciding to file charges. Not creating evidence that can prove damaging has absolutely nothing to do with 'political correctness", and it never has.
They do a great pro 2A work and that's appreciated. But I find the channel unfun to watch, unlike when Barry Elliot was around.a decade ago, they worked at Moss Gun & Pawn, they had all the classics characters! I do miss Berry! he’s very mich like the old timmers here! full of revolver knowledge and 80’s funk
What is a signed that you have too many guns or a addiction to buying guns?
I vote:
1: Have more guns that have not been shot then guns you actually shoot
2: Dream about Colts & Smith’s, fantasize about finding a Registered Magnum at a Pawn shop labels “Unknown revolver”
3: Have more than one full size Safe
4: Wish IV8888 would do a Berry special on the man who is an idol
What you say?
The secret is to be paid to attend training and shoot their ammo.Having spent more on guns than on training and ammunition.
Love the episode where they were doing Big Bore revolvers. Ray the gunsmith brought out all his finest… Berry was like “These gun will physically hurt you, if you don’t know what your doing”They do a great pro 2A work and that's appreciated. SIR,When I catch up to someone like this, I "might" have enough.
when you are trying to figure how to fit more guns or a rack system to stretch out that safe! YEPMy sense of right will only allow me to have as many guns as will fit in the safe. I’ve pushed this little box as far as she will go; she can fit no more. I’m done buying guns…until I get a new safe.

Other than the belt-feds, I have more.
Certainly one good option. In most cases though, assuming we're talking about military and/or LE, the small arms training they receive isn't nearly sufficient for more than just a base level of competency. And, of course, that would only be an option for a small percentage of the population anyway. But, the principle, that of more money having been spent on ammo and training than on the gun, still applies. The secret is to be paid to attend training and shoot their ammo.
that right! bet Ray still works thereMoss Gun & Pawn?
Is that in Jonesboro, GA, South of Atlanta?
I'm going on a road trip, just because the name appeals to me...
Those Machine Gun guys are a different breed!Other than the belt-feds, I have more.
Pope Air force base & Bragg use to do a weapon demonstration in the 90’s!!!Certainly one good option.
