Outdoors in the snow. I fired 45 rounds of S&B 230 gr. FMJ & 20 rounds of Federal 185 gr. JHP Hydra-Shoks. I just wanted to see how it shot before I cleaned it. No failures, malfunctions or glitches but I have a few questions.
I`ve owned several 1911 type .45`s and D/A 9mms but this is my first Glock. I`m shooting to the right. It has an aftermarket front sight but I`m not ready to blame that yet. I think I`m using too much trigger finger (left handed) because the tip of my finger is sore. Rubbing the frame/trigger guard during recoil?
Also my middle finger hurts where it rests against the indent on the bottom of the trigger guard. It`s pretty noticable and I don`t think it`s because of the cold. Since this is a new style of pistol I think I`m doing something wrong rather than blaming the gun. Any input? Or am I just getting old?
Funny how the trigger pull is so light when it`s empty and so heavy when you`re trying to hit the center ring at 15 yds. offhand.
