Toy Guns

I agree in principle with the 'guns are not toys' philosophy, but I was raised with a healthy amount of toy guns and there was never a question in my mind between how to act with a real gun and how to act with a toy.

Amen to that !

It was called commen sense back then, and is being replaced by nonsense today .

Back in those days, both dad and grandfather kept long guns on display in their studys, just lying across a rifle rack, no locks or anything. Then again, my grandfather would leave his 1911 lying on the table next to his recliner, and never did any of us grandkids even think about touching it...while running around playing SWAT with very realistic looking toy guns.
