Do they still make the M-16s that make the noise when you pulled the trigger. I think I wore mine out as a kid.
I don't currently have kids. But from those of you who do, how would you balance letting kids have fun with realistic toys like cap guns vs. reinforcing the 4 rules, safe direction in particular. Do you go with making sure they know the difference between real and toy, and let them play as they wish? Or do you enforce some rules, even with toys, to reinforce safe handling in general? To the point, would you let kids have "gun fights" or jump on them with a "teaching moment" if they point them at each other?
--yes this is my first post, or about so at least, but I've been lurking here daily for several months now
