Transporting and storing targets

If they are small they go in a folder or a USPS medium flat rate box.

If they are big I put them under the top and bottom foam of my rifle case and then close it carefully. It works pretty well.

I use containers made by Rubbermaid. All the targets I use fit in the 17 quart ones, even if they have to be wrapped around the corner a little.

I put them in the same container as my various bags, rests, and other accessories. It works very well.

Target stores and the like carry the containers.
Quarts or gallons?

I just keep an old junky backpack in my trunk with targets, stapler, ears/eyes, tape, string, gloves, etc etc etc

Essentially all the range trip stuff that isn't guns/mags/ammo or specialized tools.
When I buy new targets, I eventually remember to stuff them in the backpack. It ends up being a mixed bag (NPI) of precision/zombie/shoot&see/improvised/blank/CMP/person/critter/etc targets, there's always something appropriate and/or amusing in there.

i use a surplus bag, something like a duffel bag, but has a zipper down the center, it works great, it measures about 36"x 30" and about 20" deep, you can load it down
